โรงแรมอยู่บนเกาะ Key West, Florida รัฐฟลอริด้า อยู่ห่างจากตัวเมือง10-15 นาที ที่รีสอร์ทมีรถรับส่งทุกชั่วโมง พอเราไปถึงเขาจะมีตารางรถรับส่งให้ มีทั้งหมด 3 จุดที่ส่งและรับผู้เข้าพักที่รีสอร์ท สะดวกดีเราไม่ต้องไปวนหาที่จอดเอง

ค่าใช้จ่ายประมาณ $140 จองผ่าน Expedia $120+ แล้วก็เสียค่าธรรมเนียมต่อคนอีกประมาณ $9.99+tax เพิ่มอีก คิดว่าโรงแรมที่เกาะคิดค่าต่อหัวทุกที่ ไม่รู้คิดเพิ่มทำไม

Ibis Bay Beach Resort, Key West, Florida. This good size resort is far from the key downtown around 10-15 minutes. They offer shuttle bus every hour. There are 3 stops in downtown. I think it is very convenient because we don't have to find a parking spot. It saved our time to drive around looking for a parking lot and our $$ for the fee.

We paid about $140 through Expedia.com $120+ plus extra fee $9.99 a person. I don't know the reason of charging but believe that it is normal on the key.

Who always have the same problem using melted spatula like me?
I don't like to use a melted spatula because I don't feel safe to eat the food from the melted spatula. We never know if some small pieces of the plastic fell into the food. So I always buy a new one/different brand in every few month. One day, I found this OXO Heat Resistant to 600'F/315'C Non-Stick Silicone Rubber Spatula and love it. I have been using it for 4 months and it has not melted. It is strong and easy to clean.

ถ้าพูดถึงกระเป๋าหรูราคาแพง ไม่มีใครไม่รู้จัก Louis Vuitton หลาย ๆ คนคงคิดว่าราคาแพงขนาดนี้ใช้แล้วเหาะได้ คิดใหม่นะคะ ตามมาอ่านให้ระเอียด กระเป๋าหลุยส์ส่วนที่เป็นหูหิ้วขอบต่าง ๆ ที่เป็นสีอ่อน โดนน้ำไม่ได้จะทำให้เป็นรอยถาวร เรามีวิธีแก้โดยการต้องซื้อที่กันน้ำมาฉีดมาทากันไว้ ตรงส่วนเดียวกันนี่แหละถ้าใช้นาน ๆ มือสกปรก จับบ่อย มันจะเปลี่ยนเป็นสีเข้ม ๆ เข้มขึ้น เข้มขึ้น จนดำ

ปัญหาใหม่ที่ทางหลุยส์ เขามีปีล่าสุดคือ คุณภาพแย่ลง ส่วนบริเวณตัวกระเป๋า หนังลอกกกกก กระเป๋าใบนี้มีอายุ 1 ปี มุมล่างทั้ง 4 มุมลายโมโนแกรม เริ่มลอก ต่อมาเราก็มองเข้าไปใกล้ ๆ ขึ้น มันเป็นขุยขาว ๆ เหมือนที่เครือบหนังลอก

ไปติดต่อร้านหลุยส์ วิคตองแล้วคะ ได้อะไรเหรอคะ ก็ความเพิกเฉย เพราะเราไม่ได้เก็บใบเสร็จ ได้มาเป็นของขวัญ ต้องมีการเดินทางบ่อย ขึ้นเครื่องได้ทีก็แค่ 2 กระเป๋าเดินทางทุกอย่างก็ต้องโยนทิ้งกันไป ติดต่อที่ร้านมา เกือบ 1 ปี ทั้งติดต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ธรรมดา ทั้งติดต่อผู้จัดการ ทั้ง 2 สาขา Chicago in Nordstorm and Oakbrook, Louis Vuitton branches. เจ้าหน้าที่บอกว่าจะติดต่อกลับมา ไม่มีแม้แต่วิญญาณ เราจะต้องเป็นคนโทรไปถามเอง ซึ่งเราก็ไม่ได้มีเวลามากมายขนาดนั้น เหมือนไปขอเงินเขากินยังไงไม่รู้โทรไปแต่ละที

This part is for the Louis Vuitton adductors who can't read Thai. This Louis Vuitton is peeling all over the bag. Check your bag closer. I went to the Louis Vuitton Oakbrook mall, Illinois, in November 2015 to show them the bottom of the bag at the 4 corners are peeling, the monogram print. They said it is wear and tear. ARE YOU KIDDING ME, LOUIS VUITTON. This is a 1-year old bag. And it peeled. lol. Ok after visiting the store, the store manager has known about this. The result was NOTHING. They did not even care to help. Is it because I'm an Asian? Well, this is interesting. From the monogram print peeling in the corners, to finding out that the whole bag is peeling too, the white small spots all over. There are some people that have the same issue point out to me that my bag is peeling all over. Then she showed her bag that peeled. It looks terrible and worse than my bag 20 times. She said they replace the new bag for her easily. She encouraged me to do it. I did again last month, August 2016, I went to Louis Vuitton in Nordstrom in Chicago, Illinois, to give it a try again to see if there is any hope for this issue. They have the same service pattern, accept the issue and inform me to call me back after getting the result from the quality department, or what ever I don't remember. Then she has never called me back and I called to see if there is something in progress. She said she needed my receipt in order to exchange the new bag. I don't care about the receipt. I own the bag. I believe that over millions people who own LV bags have no receipts. Only those who selling as a business care about the receipt.

CHECK YOUR BAG AND TAKE YOUR RECEIPT TO THE STORE TO EXCHANGE THE NEW BAG. I DID NOT HAVE THE CHANCE.

เราเรียนจบปริญญาตรีที่ประเทศไทยมาแล้ว ส่วนปวช.ก็เรียนเอกคอมพิวเตอร์ เพราะฉะนั้นวิชาพิมพ์ดีดนี่เรื่องง่าย ๆ พอเรามาเรียนอนุปริญญาที่อเมริกา พอจะลงเรียนวิชาคอมพิวเตอร์หรือวิชาอื่น ๆ เขาก็จะมีการกำหนดให้เรียนผ่านวิชาอะไร ๆ มาก่อนถึงจะลงเรียนวิชานี้ได้ วิชาคอมที่เราจะลงก็บังคับให้เรียนพิมพ์ดีดมาก่อนถึงจะลงเรียนได้ เราจะมีอยู่ 2 ทางเลือกคือ 1.ลงเรียนวิชาพิมพ์ดีดให้ผ่านอย่างต่ำให้ได้ เกรดซี 2. เราสามารถไปสอบเทียบวิชาพิมพ์ดีดได้ ถ้าเราคิดว่าเราทำได้

ขั้นแรกคือ เราต้องโทรไปนัดสอบที่ Testing Center ก่อน
2. ก่อนสอบเราควรมีเวลาประมาณ 1 ชม. เพื่อรอคิวเอาเอกสารและรายเซ็นต์จากที่ปรึกษาทางการศึกษาให้เซ็นต์เอกสารให้เรา ถ้าโชคดีก็ไม่ต้องรอนาน แต่ถ้าทำทิ้งไว้ล่วงหน้าหลายวันก็จะดี
3. ไปจ่ายเงินค่าสอบ ประมาณ $20 ที่ฝ่ายบัญชี
4. เข้าสอบ

ก่อนสอบเจ้าหน้าที่จะเช็คข้อมูลเรา และตรวจบัตรประชาชน Photo ID เพื่อดูว่าใช่ตัวจริงหรือเปล่าแล้วก็เอาของทุกอย่างไปเก็บไว้ที่ล็อคเกอร์ ปิดโทรศัพท์ด้วย เพราะเสียงดังรบกวนการทำงานของเจ้าหน้าที่

แนวสอบคือ ทางเจ้าหน้าที่จะมีข้อความให้พิมพ์ 1 แผ่น ใบคำสั่งการสอบ 1 แผ่น
คำสั่งก็จะบอกว่าให้เราพิมพ์ยังไง เช่น ต้องเว้นวรรค 2 ครั้งหลังจากจุด full stop, ขึ้นพารากราฟใหม่ให้กด tab, หรือถ้าพิมพ์ครบหมดแล้วเวลายังเหลือ ก็ให้ย้อนกลับมาพิมพ์ใหม่ตั้งแต่บรรทัดแรก

ที่นี่ถ้าจะให้ผ่านก็ต้องผิดไม่เกิน 6 คำ พิมพ์ให้ได้ตามที่เขากำหนด อย่างน้อย 35 คำต่อนาที

เราจะสามารถทดลองพิมพ์ได้ 2 ครั้ง

เจ้าหน้าที่บอกว่าให้เราปริ้นงานออกมาด้วย เพราะมันจะโชว์คะแนน เราก็ไม่รู้ว่าจะต้องปริ้นตอนไหน สรุปคือเราก็สามารถปริ้นได้ตั้งแต่ลองพิมพ์ครั้งแรกแล้ว ก็พิมพ์มันทั้ง 3 ครั้งเลยก็ได้แล้วก็เอามาเลือกอันที่ดีที่สุดส่ง ก็แค่ค่อย ๆ อ่านที่หน้าจอว่ายังไง ตรงไหนปุ่มให้ปริ้น ตรงไหนปุ่มสอบพิมพ์ใหม่ คือเราพิมพ์ดีดเก่งอยู่แล้ว ก็ไม่ต้องฝึกพิมพ์ก็ได้ ถ้าครั้งแรกทำได้ดีแล้วก็ปริ้นผลคะแนนออกมาส่งเลยก็ได้ จะได้ไม่ต้องเสียเวลา เพราะเครื่องที่นี่มันไม่ได้กำหนดให้ฝึก 2 รอบ แล้วสอบ คือมันแล้วแต่เราจะเลือกกดปุ่มคำสั่งไหนได้เลย

**ทั้งนี้ทั้งนั้น แต่ละคอลเลจก็มีนโยบายและโปรแกรมแตกต่างกันไป หวังว่าข้อมูลนี้จะสามารถเป็นประโยชน์กับผู้อ่าน ที่บังเอิญต้องลงเรียนวิชาที่มีการบังคับให้เรียนพิมพ์ดีดได้มีแนวคิดว่าเราก็อาจจะสามารถสอบเทียบได้ ดีกว่าไปเสียค่าเรียนอีกรอบ $100++ แถมต้องไปเสียเวลาเรียนอีกรอบ ยังไงก็ลองติดต่อที่ปรึกษาดูนะคะ

เที่ยวชิคาโก้เหมือนจะมีอะไรไม่มาก แต่ถ้าให้เดินก็เมื่อยมากนะจ๊ะ เพราะเดินมาแล้ว เดินไปทางโน้นเดินมาทางนี้ สุดท้ายเดินมาที่ ตึก Sear Tower หรือ Willis Tower ที่มี Sky Deck ระเบียงกระจกยื่นออกไปนอกตัวตึก หวาดเสียววว เห็นซุ้มขายทัวร์ชมเมืองแบบรถ 2 ชั้นหน้าตึก เราเมื่อยมากละสนใจทัวร์เต็มที่ เราซื้อทัวร์ The Night Tour ไป $20 เราจะเริ่มใช้สิทธิ์ทัวร์ได้ตั้งแต่ 6.30 pm - 10.00 pm ทำไมถึงใช้คำว่าใช้สิทธิ์เพราะมันเป็นทัวร์แบบ hop on. Hop off. เราจะขึ้นลงเท่าไรก็ได้ภายในช่วงเวลานั้น ๆ แต่ต้องขึ้นลงตามจุดที่เขาจอด ก็คือ 13 จุดท่องเที่ยวหลัก ๆ (ทัวร์กลางคืนจะไม่จอดที่ Adler Planetarium, Field Museum, and Shedd Aquarium) จะกดออดขอลงแบบรถเมล์ไม่มี ไกด์จะประกาศก่อนจอดให้ลง

พอรถมาเราก็เตรียมเอาใบเสร็จให้ดู เอออ ไม่มีใครตรวจแฮะ (คนแอบขึ้นฟรีก็ไม่รู้สินะ) จะให้ดีให้ไปขึ้นที่จุดที่ 1 เพราะรถโล่ง เราจะได้นั่งชั้น 2  เพราะเราเห็นคนขึ้นที่จุดอื่น ๆ ที่นั่งข้างบนเต็ม เขาก็นั่งข้างล่างกัน ไม่ได้อารมณ์ จุดที่ควรนั่งบนชั้น 2 คือช่วงกลาง ๆ รถ นั่งหน้ารถกระจกกับขอบกั้นบังวิวตอนถ่ายรูป กว่าจะหามุมได้รถก็เลื่อนไปแล้ว นั่งข้างหลังมันไกลเกินไป แต่ถ้าใครชอบก็ตามสะดวกค่ะ เราว่าตรงกลางดีสุดใกล้ไกด์ ถ่ายรูปสะดวก จะ selfie หรือจะถ่ายวิวก็สะดวก selfie ก็จะมีวิวของรถ 2 ชั้นติดบ้าง

ระหว่างทางไกด์ก็บรรยายประวัติตึกต่าง ๆ เน้นเนื้อหาสำคัญ ๆ อย่างสั้น ๆ และมีความชำนาญในอาชีพด้วย ต้องบอกก่อนว่าที่ชิคาโก้ดังเรื่องตึกสวย ๆ จากสถาปนิกดัง ๆ หลายคน มีการแข่งขันกันมากทางด้านความโดดเด่นของตึก มีรูปแบบสวยงามแตกต่างกันออกไป (จะไปรวบรวมรูปมาให้ดูนะคะ) ระหว่างทางมีรถติดเป็นช่วง ๆ แต่ไม่นานเท่ากรุงเทพ ไกด์ก็พูดคุยสนุกสนานฆ่าเวลา บางทีก็ปล่อยให้ลูกทัวร์ถ่ายรูปกันไป ตอนลงรถเราก็สังเกตดูว่าคนอื่น ๆ ให้ทิปไกด์กันไหม ก็ไม่มีนะคะ เราเลยไม่ได้ให้ (เราก็ไม่รู้นะว่าคันอื่น ๆ ให้ไหม)

ตอนนั้นลูกชาย 1 ขวบ 5 เดือน เขาเป็นคนชอบกัดจุกขวดนม กัดขาดซะนมหกเละเทะหมดเลย ตอนฟันขึ้นใหม่ ๆ นะ แต่ช่วงหลัง ๆ ไม่ค่อยกัดแล้ว พอตอนไปไทยก็เลยวางใจว่าคงเอาจุกนมไปพอใช้ แต่ลูกชายดันกัดจุกขาดอีกแล้ว หาซื้อยี่ห้อ medela ก็ไม่มีสักห้าง ไปเดินบิ๊กซีเจอขวดนมลดราคาเหลือ 19 บาท ถูกมาก ๆ เลยลองซื้อมาใช้ดู ปกติลูกชายติดยี่ห้อ medela ตั้งแต่เริ่มหัดดูดขวดนมเลยคิดว่าต้องซื้อแต่ยี่ห้อนั้น

* BPA stands for bisphenol A. BPA is an industrial chemical that has been used to make certain plastics and resins since the 1960s.

BPA is found in polycarbonate plastics and epoxy resins. Polycarbonate plastics are often used in containers that store food and beverages, such as water bottles. They may also be used in other consumer goods.

Epoxy resins are used to coat the inside of metal products, such as food cans, bottle tops and water supply lines. Some dental sealants and composites also may contain BPA.

Some research has shown that BPA can seep into food or beverages from containers that are made with BPA. Exposure to BPA is a concern because of possible health effects of BPA on the brain, behavior and prostate gland of fetuses, infants and children.

However, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said that BPA is safe at the very low levels that occur in some foods.
